Deli and meat labels
Meat packaging is one of the hardest jobs a label has to do. Cold, moisture, condensation and constant handling all work against the print, and the label still has to look right on the shelf at the end of it.
Paper-based materials suit chilled products and general retail. Polypropylene and other synthetics handle wet and refrigerated conditions. Freezer-grade adhesives hold at low temperatures, high-tack adhesives grip vacuum packs and flexible film, and removable options come off cleanly where that matters.
Barrier coatings protect print from moisture, oils and fats. Thermal materials carry the variable information: weights, prices, batch numbers, barcodes, use-by dates and traceability.

Printers, labelling machines and support
A packhouse cannot stop because it has run out of labels, and it cannot stop because a printer is down. We supply the equipment alongside the labels, and we keep it running.
Argox label printers
We supply the Argox range, including the iX4-250 with its 8 inch roll capacity, 450m ribbons and 8ips print speed. Built-in Ethernet and USB, with optional dispensers and automatic cutters for packing lines. Available in 203dpi and 300dpi, direct thermal or thermal transfer.
Hand labelling machines
Battery-powered applicators that run 8 to 10 hours on a charge and apply 60 to 100 labels a minute, for label sizes from 15 to 50mm long and 8 to 29mm wide. Suited to fruit, punnets and anywhere a line applicator is not practical.
BarTender software
BarTender is the label design and printing software most packhouses run. We supply it, install it and set it up on your printers, and we assist with the administration and IT side so your team is not left to work it out alone.
Maintenance and support
Thermal printhead replacements, servicing and fault-finding by technicians who know the equipment. We diagnose and repair quickly to keep downtime off your production line.
We supply the printers to the packhouse and the packhouse buys its blank labels from us. Talk to us about setting that up for your season.

Hi-Tack Labels is a proudly South African, family-owned and operated business spanning three generations, with our fourth generation already in training.
1998
Letsitele. Hi-Tack Labels was founded with a vision to revolutionise label manufacturing and raise the standards within the industry. It marked the beginning of our journey.
2002
Marble Hall. We opened our first manufacturing factory, increasing production capacity and strengthening our presence in the market.
2019
Citrusdal. As the business continued to grow, we opened our second manufacturing factory, further expanding our production capabilities and national reach.
2025 - 2026
Expanding our reach. With factories in Marble Hall and Citrusdal, we opened distribution branches in Letsitele, Robertson, Gauteng and Kirkwood, bringing our products and services closer to customers across South Africa.
